Geothermal power map

Iceland GeoSurvey and ThinkGeoEnergy publish a global Geothermal Power Map.

In a joint effort, Icelandic GeoSurvey (ISOR) and ThinkGeoEnergy publish the Global Geothermal Power Map. The map was created using  data from various sources. Background, place names and boundaries are from the Natural Earth Data & Etopo2. Locations of geothermal sites are compiled by ThinkGeoEnergy and Iceland GeoSurvey. Production capacity is from the International Geothermal Association (IGA) database.

The map is currently only available in a limited number of copies, but might be available for sale in the near future.
